Virtus were instructed by Colliers International, on behalf of Pontegadea UK Ltd to carry out the CAT A refurbishment, of the 5th Floor at 100 Wood Street in the heart of the City of London.
The works were programmed to a duration of 13 weeks with the contract value being £1.1m. The works included the isolation and strip out of redundant Mechanical and Electrical systems, replacement fan coil units and associated air handling equipment. A full refurbishment was undertaken to the raised access floors and SAS ceiling system, refurbishment of the existing WCs, showers, lift lobbies and level 5 reception.
The project was delivered within the 13 week duration set out from the outset and within the clients budget. The works were completed with the building being in a live occupied environment.
