We were instructed to undertake the CAT B fit out for Dolby at their Grade II listed Soho Square, London HQ who remained in occupation throughout. The original building was first constructed as a timber framed warehouse in 1801.

The works involved the strip out of the Ground up to the 3rd floor, alterations to the layout of Soho Square frontage building and the Dean Street annex to create new isolated acoustic media suites with a more client facing facility, repositioning and upgrade of staff collaboration areas, tea points & washrooms to facilitate the altered layout of other rooms, creation of a rooftop plant room above the Dean Street annex and installation of additional plant, strengthening of existing structure to accommodate additional weight of high specification acoustic ‘box within box’ rooms, integration of services and high specification AV / Data within traditional framed building, remodelling and updating of main reception and transforming the building by providing a modern quirky working space. The above was achieved through a good working relationship with the whole professional team including TP Bennett who were the architect on this project.
The value of the works were in excess of £4m and mainly consisted of high end AV & IT, a full installation of new M&E and high specification finishes on all floors.
We had excellent working relationship with Dolby and so much so that they have also instructed us to carry out the small works and maintenance on the building going forward.
