Works to the embassy building were undertaken whilst the building remained operational.

We were under tight delivery and loading restrictions with Westminster council due to already like projects having logistical priority either side of the embassy, this was overcome with the project manager having a good working relationship with the neighbours and forward planning to make sure delivery times would not clash.
The main difficulty of the project was distribution of waste and materials up and down the building, the client refurbished the lift cars along side our internal fit out leaving two narrow stair cores as the only access to each floor. We installed an external goods lift entering the building through the windows of each floor to overcome this issue.
A good working relationship was maintained with the client and their professional design team throughout the build and re-occupation of a busy embassy was restored without any disruption to the day to day operations.
