Virtus were appointed by Macquarie to undertake the following in order to provide a more effective and productive solution to their current facilities to cater for increased staff numbers.
The project included modernisation and refurbishment of existing catering facilities to their pantry, café servery and kitchen areas to improve service levels. This work included the removal of existing facilities to create new preparation areas, servery counters, services alterations, new walk in refrigeration room whilst the kitchen was altered to create a new store room all with in a fully operational kitchen and servery outside normal working hours.
Provision of unisex superloos with innovative occupancy system to increase WC facilities by converting general office space to create bespoke design led comprising of new floor finishes, partitioning, ceilings with access to services, bespoke cubicles, sanitary ware, fixtures & fittings, new ventilation and extract systems, public health services, lighting, life safety systems and occupancy system.
Reconfiguration and refurbishment of office floor space to cater for increased staff comprising of an office fit out to 1,316 sq m (14,200 sq ft) Isolation of existing services and removal of existing fixture and fitting followed by the installation of new bespoke teapoint including associated services and finishes, relocation and provision of new grommets to support floor power sockets, installation of power and conduit for new AV systems, replacement of meeting room carpet , installation of acoustic treatment above ceilings to meeting rooms, decorations to walls and bulkheads, fabric acoustic panels to meeting rooms, new storage wall, manufacture and installation of ‘perch rails’ to the stand-up meeting room facilities, builders work in connection with services and services and life safety systems.
