Ultimately, the refurbishment of Levels 4 and 7 concluded the comprehensive upgrade of 62–64 Cornhill. The building was transformed into a modern and efficient workplace environment.

The refurbishment of 62–64 Cornhill was delivered as part of a long-term modernisation programme. The initiative was designed to update commercial office environments through coordinated aesthetic and services improvements.
Levels 4 and 7 were completed as the final stage of the building’s refurbishment strategy. An initial concept was prepared from an early furniture plan, and this concept was steadily developed into a detailed working design. Subtle differences were introduced between floors to create distinct identities while retaining a shared design language. Through this method, a coherent visual narrative was preserved across the building.
Generous breakout areas and tea points were incorporated into both floors. These facilities were positioned to support modern working patterns and encourage informal collaboration. High-quality finishes were selected to enhance comfort and present a refined atmosphere for future tenants.
Throughout the design process, tonal adjustments and minor furniture variations were applied to offer individuality. These changes were executed without compromising the overall cohesion of the refurbishment. In addition, lighting strategies were refined to accentuate spatial clarity and reinforce the contemporary character of each floor.
The works were carried out while neighbouring floors remained fully occupied. Consequently, careful planning and strict coordination were required throughout. Noise management strategies were implemented to minimise disruption to existing tenants. Safety procedures were consistently enforced to protect occupants and maintain building operations.
Programme targets were monitored closely, and progress was reviewed through regular on-site assessments. Despite the operational challenges, the phase was completed according to the agreed schedule. A smooth handover was achieved, allowing immediate tenant occupation.
Ultimately, the refurbishment of Levels 4 and 7 concluded the comprehensive upgrade of 62–64 Cornhill. The building was transformed into a modern and efficient workplace environment.
The final result was shaped by diligent coordination, disciplined delivery, and a shared commitment to quality.
