A bold transformation across four buildings, seamlessly delivered while fully operational.

Virtus undertook a logistically complex refurbishment project across four fully operational buildings on Queens Road, Brighton.
The works involved a comprehensive upgrade of six floors of common areas within 96, 98, and 100 Queens Road. This included the transformation of staircases, the remodelling of WC facilities on each floor, and the enhancement of entrance lobbies — all completed while the buildings remained in use.
The design scheme introduced fresh decoration and new flooring throughout the common parts, with updated trims to the staircases that added a refined finish. The WC areas were reconfigured with a clean, contemporary aesthetic, improving both functionality and visual appeal.
Princes House was also reimagined, with its three floors of common areas and WC facilities brought in line with the cohesive design language that linked all four buildings.
In addition to the internal upgrades, Princes House received a full external redecoration and the creation of a striking roof terrace at third-floor level, offering a standout feature for the property.
To unify the identity of the estate, bespoke internal and external lighting was designed and installed, reinforcing the client’s brand across all four buildings. The result is a thoughtfully executed scheme that balances operational continuity with high-quality design and delivery.
