This light office fit-out introduces warm, high-end spaces—including a welcoming reception area, a glazed meeting room, and a bespoke multifunctional library.

The light fit out of this existing office introduced a series of new, purpose-driven spaces, including a client welcome area, a four-person meeting room, and a bespoke library room, all unified by a high end, warm aesthetic.

The new welcome area was vital in setting the tone for the workplace, balancing professionalism with warmth. Statement colours provide a vibrant focal point, complemented by a layered neutral palette of textured fabrics to soften the space and ensure a welcoming yet sophisticated feel.

To maximise available footprint and meet client requirements, a new four-person meeting room was introduced. Due to the central location of this new meeting room, glazed partitions were chosen to maintain the open plan feel of the existing floor and encourage natural light flow.

The library room was designed as a distinctive, multi-functional space, centred around a bespoke joinery unit in a dark walnut finish to meet client ambition for a high-end aesthetic. This custom piece not only conceals the existing comms box but also incorporates open shelving, a concealed darts board, and an integrated fridge.

Throughout the office, the existing furniture was carefully reconsidered and repositioned, with desk layouts rationalised to optimise spatial efficiency. A new central breakout table was also introduced to create a natural gathering point within the workspace and encourage collaboration.

With this particular project, a key challenge was ensuring that all new interventions integrated seamlessly with the existing space and palette, while also introducing a strong sense of client brand and identity. The result is a balanced, cohesive environment that feels both refreshed and familiar.
