This light-touch office fit-out introduced a series of purpose-driven spaces, including a client welcome area, a four-person meeting room, and a bespoke library. Together, these additions created a warm, high-end workplace environment that better supports collaboration, client interaction, and day-to-day operations.

The new welcome area plays a key role in shaping first impressions. To create an inviting yet professional atmosphere, the design combines statement colours with a layered palette of textured fabrics and neutral finishes. As a result, the space feels both sophisticated and welcoming.

To maximise the available floorplate and meet the client’s requirements, we introduced a new four-person meeting room within the existing office layout. However, its central location presented a design challenge. Therefore, we installed glazed partitions to maintain the open-plan feel of the workplace while allowing natural light to flow throughout the space.

The bespoke library provides a distinctive multi-functional destination within the office. A custom dark walnut joinery unit forms the focal point of the room and delivers the high-end aesthetic envisioned by the client. In addition, the joinery conceals the existing communications box while incorporating open shelving, an integrated fridge, and a concealed dartboard.

Across the workplace, we carefully reviewed and repositioned existing furniture to improve functionality and maximise spatial efficiency. Furthermore, we rationalised desk layouts and introduced a new central breakout table, creating a natural hub for collaboration and informal interaction.

A key challenge throughout the office refurbishment involved integrating the new interventions seamlessly into the existing workplace. At the same time, the design needed to strengthen the client’s brand identity and introduce a refreshed character. Consequently, the completed fit-out delivers a cohesive and balanced environment that feels both familiar and revitalised.
