Our works consisted of stripping out a suite of medical consultation rooms on the first floor of an eye hospital and creating office space, meeting and boardrooms along with associated reception, break out space and tea point.
The work was carried out in conjunction with a design that developed following the isolation and strip out phase which included removal of medical gases and patient alarms without interruption to hospital activities on the floors above and below the work area.
Following the removal of ceilings the existing services were rationalised to facilitate an open void ceiling using acoustic baffles for aesthetics and sound absorption. Great care has gone into the alignment of the boardroom / reception walls to create a visual impact on entry to the floor and a combination of exposed brickwork and the use of slatted oak wall panelling add further impact and unifying feel to the space.
