“Never give up. If you don’t give up, you will get there in the end.”
— Anya Hindmarch
Anya Hindmarch store fit-out in West London saw Virtus deliver a new flagship retail space for the luxury handbag and accessories brand. Working to a demanding programme, our team coordinated closely with the client and architect to keep construction progressing while the design continued to develop.
Despite the fast-track nature of the project, clear communication and careful planning allowed us to maintain progress and deliver the store in time for its planned opening.
Working within a fast-moving design environment, our team collaborated closely with the client and architect to keep construction progressing. As a result, we successfully delivered the new flagship store in line with the required opening programme.
Luxury Retail Fit-Out in West London
The project presented a significant challenge because construction needed to begin before the architect had completed the full design package. Therefore, our team had to respond quickly as information developed while maintaining momentum on site.
Rather than allowing the evolving design to delay progress, Virtus established clear communication between the client, architect and construction team. This collaborative approach allowed us to coordinate new information efficiently and respond to design developments as they emerged.
Importantly, close communication also helped maintain the quality and intent of the design while keeping the programme moving forward.
Fast-Track Anya Hindmarch Store Fit-Out
Delivering a flagship retail environment requires careful coordination, particularly when working to a fixed opening programme. For the Anya Hindmarch store fit-out, we managed the evolving design alongside the construction works to maintain progress and avoid unnecessary delays.
Furthermore, the team remained flexible throughout the project. As design information developed, we coordinated the relevant construction activities and incorporated the requirements into the ongoing works.
This responsive approach allowed the project team to overcome the challenges associated with starting construction before completion of the architectural design.
Collaborative Flagship Store Construction
Collaboration played a central role in the successful delivery of the project. Open communication between Anya Hindmarch, the architect and Virtus ensured that each party could respond quickly as the scheme progressed.
Consequently, the construction programme continued despite the developing design information. The approach also demonstrated the importance of strong relationships between the client, design team and contractor when delivering fast-track retail projects.
Delivering the Anya Hindmarch Store Fit-Out
Virtus completed the Anya Hindmarch store fit-out in line with the client’s opening requirements. Through proactive management, flexibility and close collaboration, the project progressed successfully despite the challenging programme and evolving architectural design.
The completed flagship store demonstrates Virtus’ ability to deliver luxury retail environments within demanding programmes, while working collaboratively with clients and design teams to achieve the required outcome.
