Following the successful delivery of BCS London offices, Virtus were instructed to carry out a high end CAT B fit out spread across three floors in Swindon.

Delivered by Virtus’ Regional Works team, this three-floor office fit out with partitions transformed BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT’s office in Swindon. Working across three floors, the project created a modern and flexible workplace while meeting a critical programme deadline ahead of the client’s lease expiry.

Creating New Spaces with Glazed and Solid Partitions

As part of the three-floor office fit out with partitions, we installed glazed and solid partitioning to create new boardrooms, meeting rooms and private offices. These carefully planned layouts improved functionality and provided a balance between collaborative and focused workspaces.

The project also included upgrades to the heating, cooling, electrical and fire safety systems, ensuring the office environment met modern workplace standards and the client’s operational needs.

Swindon Office Fit Out and Technology Upgrades

Our Regional Works team coordinated the introduction of new Cat 6 cabling throughout the three floors to support the client’s technology requirements. We also managed the furniture installation, ensuring all workstations, meeting spaces and offices were fully operational from day one.

Close collaboration with the client and supply chain partners helped maintain programme certainty throughout the project. With the client’s existing lease approaching its end date, careful planning and proactive management were essential.

Delivering a Three-Floor Office Fit Out on Time

Despite a demanding timescale, the team completed the three-floor office fit out with partitions on schedule and within budget. The result is a high-quality workplace in Swindon that supports collaboration, productivity and future growth while providing BCS with a modern, efficient and professional working environment.
