The Oval Estates office refurbishment saw Virtus deliver another successful Design and Build project alongside a familiar professional team. Working with NRP, Darling Associates, Cudd Bentley and Nick Perry Associates, we transformed the reception, club room and common areas to create a high-quality contemporary environment.

The project focused on transforming the existing reception and common areas. In addition, we created a new high-end club room to enhance the building’s facilities and overall occupier experience.

Reception and Club Room Refurbishment

Our team introduced a range of premium finishes throughout the reception. These included a new antique bronze metal reception desk and matching backdrop. Meanwhile, specialist clay plaster provided a distinctive finish to the surrounding walls.

The ceiling design combined traditional MF construction with a new SAS raft system within the club room. Together, these elements created a contemporary interior with a strong sense of quality and attention to detail.

Building Services and MEP Upgrades

Alongside the interior refurbishment, our team delivered a comprehensive package of building services upgrades. We installed new HVAC systems together with upgraded fire safety, electrical and public health services.

Throughout the project, we closely coordinated these installations with the wider construction programme. In addition, our team managed testing and commissioning in line with the dates established within the original programme.

This coordinated approach helped maintain progress while ensuring the new services complemented the architectural finishes.

Delivering the Oval Estates Office Refurbishment

Collaboration remained central to the project. Having previously worked with members of the professional team, we could build on established relationships throughout the Design and Build process.

As a result, our team maintained close coordination between the design, commercial and construction elements. This approach supported an efficient delivery while maintaining the high-quality finishes required across the reception and club room.

Ultimately, we completed the Oval Estates office refurbishment within the client’s agreed budget. The finished scheme provides an upgraded reception, contemporary common areas and a high-end club room.

The completed project reflects the quality of the original design intent while creating an enhanced environment for building users. Furthermore, it demonstrates our ability to work collaboratively with established professional teams to deliver high-quality commercial refurbishment projects.
